averages, another round of light business also developed on
Thursday with prices steady with the day before. Late
Thursday afternoon some very light trade took place in parts
of Nebraska with dressed deals marked at mostly $160 to $162,
roughly $2 to $4 higher than the prior week's weighted
average (some were set for delayed delivery). Other light
trade was also reported in the North on Friday at generally
steady money with Thursday. According to the Friday afternoon

DTN MORNING COMMENTS: The country is typically quiet this
Monday morning with bids and asking prices not established as
of yet. Significant trade volume will likely be delayed until
the second half of the week. Beef cutouts are expected to be
lower with generally light box movement.

For the week ending September 14, 2019, Imported Beef Passed
for Entry in the U.S. totaled 37,740, 116.80% of the previous
week and 102.96% of the prior 4-week average.

guarantee its specific reliability or whether it fairly
represents the larger cash market.
